New Clerk needed

Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons, preferably with some knowledge of local government regulations.

The parish clerk will be responsible for the administration and finances of the council, including running payroll, preparing the Agenda, taking and circulating minutes.

He or she must be computer literate, with good communication skills and can develop and maintain the council website

Friendly and positive outlooks are essential.

Salary scale LC1, SCP 18-20 dependent on experience and qualifications, -£18,070-£19,430 pa, pro rata

 9 hours per month 

The work will mainly be from home and you will be expected to use your own equipment which will be suitable for the task. Attendance is required at four evening meetings a year to take minutes
